This is a secondary boiler order from a well-known pharmaceutical company specializing in medicine production and R&D . There are stringent requirements for steam supply stability, thermal efficiency, and environmental performance in pharmaceutical production process. In 2020, the enterprise purchased its first WNS4-1.25-Y(Q) heavy oil fired steam boiler from Sitong boiler for sterilization, drying, and heating in its production line. After 6 years of efficient and stable operation, the boiler gained high customer satisfaction due to its excellent energy-saving performance, low maintenance costs, and reliable steam supply. Due to the continuous and stable steam supply required for drug production, any interruption may affect product quality. The fuel prices in Nigeria fluctuate greatly, and new boilers with high combustion efficiency are needed to reduce operating costs. The company requires boilers to have low emissions, low noise, and adapt to the power supply environment with high quality of heavy oil and voltage fluctuations in Nigeria influenced by increasingly strict local environmental regulations. With the launch of the 2025 production line expansion plan, the enterprise decided to repurchase a same model from Sitong boiler to match the new capacity requirements .
 
This WNS4-1.25-Y (Q) heavy oil fired steam boiler adopts a corrugated furnace liner and high-efficiency threaded smoke tube structure with a thermal efficiency of over 95% that can  significantly reduce fuel consumption. It is equipped with PLC fully automatic control to achieve precise adjustment of pressure, water level, and temperature for ensuring stable steam supply. The WNS4-1.25-Y (Q) heavy oil fired steam boiler customized by Sitong boiler for this customer has a rated evaporation capacity of 4t/h, which can simultaneously meet the steam supply for 3 sterilization cabinets and 2 drying production lines. Its rated steam temperature is 193 ℃ and pressure is 1.25MPa that can ensure thorough sterilization of raw materials (with microbial contamination rate controlled below 0.001%). They use heavy oil as boiler fuel can help themselves reduce procurement costs, which is also in line with the local fuel supply characteristics in Nigeria.
