Pakistan's textile industry contributes over 10% of its national GDP and is also a core source of its foreign exchange earnings as an important global textile exporting country. However, local textile enterprises have long faced 2 major energy challenges: first one is the high operating costs of traditional fuel and gas boilers, which are significantly affected by fluctuations in international energy prices. The second one is the unstable power supply in some areas leads to frequent power outages, resulting in production interruptions and seriously affecting the efficiency of order delivery for enterprises. A large textile group located in Punjab Province, Pakistan reached this cooperation with Sitong boiler who is a leading enterprise specializing in the production of cotton yarn and greige fabric. They have 2 modern spinning production lines and 3 weaving production lines with a daily steam demand of 25 tons. With the expansion of enterprise production capacity, the original small oil fired boiler can no longer meet production needs, and the proportion of fuel cost to production cost has risen to 18%. So the customer urgently need an efficient, economical, and locally adapted steam solution. Their procurement manager conducted multiple investigations and comparisons, and ultimately collaborated with Sitong boiler. Our sales manager Mrs. Yoyo and technical team customized a combination solution of 2 models --SZW10-1.25-SCII and SZW15-1.25-SCII series coal and biomass fired steam boilers based on their production characteristics and requirements for fuel flexibility. These 2 boilers can operate combined to meet the customer's daily steam supply demand of 25 tons. While they can also be flexibly started and stopped according to production load to achieve high efficiency and energy conservation.


 
These 2 of steam boilers both adopt a "Coal&Biomass" fuel dual-use design. And the dual fuel replacement does not require modification of the boiler body but just the adjustion of feeding speed and air distribution ratio, which can perfectly adapt to 2 core energy sources in Pakistan: 1) low-cost cotton stalks and sugarcane bagasse (agricultural waste around the local textile factory with a procurement cost of only 1/3 of coal), and 2) easily accessible thermal coal (Pangpo Province has abundant coal resources and a transportation radius of no more than 200 kilometers). The SZW10-1.25-SCII series coal and biomass boiler has a rated evaporation capacity of 10t/h, rated working pressure of 1.25MPa, and steam temperature of 194 ℃. It can meet the constant temperature drying needs of processes such as carding, drawing, and roving in the spinning workshop. A single unit can provide 10 tons of high-quality saturated steam per hour, which is suitable for low load operation periods of the production line (such as nighttime and low order season). The other SZW15-1.25-SCII series coal and biomass boiler has a rated evaporation capacity of 15t/h, rated working pressure of 1.25MPa, and steam temperature of 194 ℃. It is designed specifically for the sizing and drying processes in the weaving workshop that  require extremely high steam pressure stability (pressure fluctuations need to be controlled within ± 0.05MPa). The evaporation capacity of 15t/h can meet the full load production of 2 weaving lines at the same time to help avoid quality defects in sizing caused by insufficient steam. The application of these 2 steam boilers can not only solve the long-term problems of unstable steam supply and high costs faced by the textile enterprise, but we believe that our professional customized solutions and full service will also make customers very satisfied!
